Friends of Our Lady of Victories (FOLV)
The Friends of Our Lady of Victories is the "Parents Association" of our school. All parents, carers, teachers and governors are encouraged to take an active and supportive role.
FOLV has two main objectives: firstly to provide a welcoming, supportive and social environment for the school community and secondly to raise money to advance the educational experience of our pupils. FOLV puts the Catholic ethos of the school at the heart of everything we do.
FOLV aims to support the school this year through a programme of Curriculum Enrichment to promote Sport, Arts, Music, Science and Mathematics within the school. We also plan to continue with the ongoing programme of facilities upgrade to include furniture and equipment (to include IT and AV).
Some of the initiatives FOLV has supported include the Chelsea FC lunchtime multi-skills sessions, canoeing for upper KS2, National Theatre workshops, the Science Fair and coaches to the Christmas Pantomime. This is a selection of activities supported by FOLV funds.
We hold various fundraising and social activities throughout the year, such as a Quiz Night, Christmas Party, Christmas Secret Santa Room, Summer Fair, Summer Party, Cake Sales and even a Murder Mystery Night.
FOLV's success ultimately relies on the generosity of this community of ours - not just financially but also through your generosity of spirit by volunteering and supporting our events.
We are all FOLV together.
